There will be a full HOSA meeting on Thursday, Sept 9. Pizza and water will be available for $2.00. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. HOSA officers will meet on Wednesday, Sept 8 during lunch in Mrs. Tisdale's room.
LET’S ALL GO TO NEW YORK!
It’s a wonderful town and next summer you could join us for theater, dining and shopping in the Big Apple for a shockingly reasonable price. While pointed mainly at theater students 14 and older, everyone is invited to a total experience of New York with everything from the Statue of Liberty to ground zero. So come to a meeting Tuesday, Sept 14 at 6:30pm in the auditorium to learn details of the trip, payment plans and scholarship opportunities. For questions, call Bob Straus at 990-2762.

ATTENTION SENIORS
Just a reminder….A senior information night for seniors and your parents, will be held Tuesday, September 7th, at 5:30 p.m., in the High School Library. Such topics that will be covered will be ACT/SAT testing dates, applying for college, college applications, college visits, apply Texas application and scholarships.

Herff Jones will be here taking class ring orders Wednesday, Sept 8 during lunch and Thursday, Sept 9 during lunch and after school until 5:30pm. You only need to bring your deposit to get your ring started. Remember seniors-it’s not too late to order or pick up your ring.
Attention – teachers, staff, freshmen, sophomores and juniors… Wednesday, Sept. 8 is school picture day! Pictures will be taken in the library and students will be going with their English class. Remind your parents that if they want to purchase pictures they must send the payment on Wednesday when you are photographed – there are no proofs this year. Teachers and staff members may go to the library at any time during the day.
Your photo days are Oct. 6-7 and more information will be provided later in the month.
WHAT IF YOU COULDN’T SMILE?
If you become a member of Codebreakers: World Language club you can join a group who cares about helping children around the world get their smiles back. We will talk about our upcoming fundraiser to help children with cleft palates around the world. Come make a bracelet which says “smile” in different languages. Meet the international students. Johannes from Germany will show off the new World Language club T-shirt. Join us if you want your name put on it. Come to room 404 during first lunch on Tuesday.

Are you looking for a way to make a difference in the world and have fun with other students at the same time? Then the Interact Club is for you! Interact will meet on Wednesday, September 8, at lunch. Upperclassmen will meet in Mrs. Houston’s room, #236. Freshmen will meet in Ms. Yencharis’ Biology room, # 258. Bring your own lunch or bring $2 for pizza. Water and dessert will be free. Everyone is welcome to join Interact!
